About Us

About Allie Greene Founder/Owner

Allie Greene, LSW, RSME/T, is a mental health therapist and somatic movement educator integrating body-based healing with evidence-informed psychotherapy. A former professional dancer and outreach artist, Allie brings over two decades of embodied practice into her work at My Wellness Center and her studio, Soma Movement.

Allie offers somatic movement and body-based sessions in her studio and virtually, as well as mental health therapy that is somatically oriented and integrates evidence-based psychotherapeutic modalities. She supports individuals living with chronic stress, pain, anxiety, depression, or long-standing patterns of disconnection, helping them reconnect with choice and cultivate a relationship with themselves rooted in dignity, curiosity, and liberation.

Her approach begins with the understanding that our bodies hold both personal history and the imprint of the systems we move through. Healing, to her, is not about fixing what’s “wrong,” but about reclaiming what has been shaped or constrained by survival — and remembering our innate capacity for change.

Drawing from Body-Mind Centering®, EmbodiYoga® & Somatics, and other mindfulness principles, Allie helps people understand how their physical, emotional, and psychological patterns shape how they move, relate, and navigate the world.

Her sessions blend somatic movement, gentle embodied yoga, breathwork, meditation, and  mindful inquiry. Whether in therapy or movement, her work is grounded in the belief that when the body feels supported, the whole person can reorganize toward resilience, presence, and possibility.

What Our Clients Say

Feedback from Allie’s workshops on Fusion Pilates EDU & Pilates Anytime

  • I really liked what you said: there are interesting things in small things. That can be very reassuring for folk who can’t move big but also a reminder to be respectful to the whole movement and fully embrace it, no matter the limitations.

  • Really loved your classes, Allie! Very inspiring for exploring and discovering our ways of moving and what moves us - the spaces in, out, and around us. Could literally spend hours in this self-discovery movement journey.

  • These classes make me inspired to playfully, curiously look into my movement preferences and also risk other choices and places rarely visited in my body.
